It wont let me make a twitter account because...?

it all says the requirments are good except my email. my email is "myname-@hotmail.ca" its not actualy the words myname but my real name, i just dont wanna put it on here for everyone to add. but its saying its an invalid email... what do i do. i wanna tweet with wiz and all the clebs! :(
